MODEL-MODEL PENGEMBANGAN KAJIAN PSIKOLOGI DALAM DISKURSUS PEMIKIRAN MUSLIM KONTEMPORER

Tulisan ini membahas contoh-contoh pengembangan penelitian psikologi di dalam wacana muslim kontemporer. Ada dua cara dalam mengembangkan penelitianpsikologi didunia Islam. Pertama, berdasarkan tradisi Islam itu sendiri, dinamakanturats, dan yang kedua dimulai dari modernitas (hadatsah). Penelitian psikologi berdasarkan turats biasanya disebut pengembangan psikologiIslami dari pengetahuan Islam seperti filsafat Islam dan sufi. Sementara itu, penelitian psikologi dimulai dari modernitas, disebut sebagai psikologi Islam, dikembangkan dari psikologiBarat dengan mencoba nilai ke-Islaman. Diantara keduanya, penelitian psikologiyang bersumber dari tradisi Islam mempunyai nilai yang istimewa. Dalam pembahasan ini, untuk mempelajari psikologi dari tradisi filsafat Islam ialah suatu carayang baik meliputi banyak haldalam mengembangkan penelitian psikologi. Sebenarnya, percakapan intensif antara tradisi Islam dan penelitian psikologimodern akan sangat membantu dalam menemukan intisari dari psikologi Islami.This paper discusses the models of developing the psychology studies in Islamic muslim contemporary discourse. Here, mentioned that there are two ways in developing psychology studies in Islamic world. Firstly, it is based on the tradition of Islam itself, named turats, and secondly, started from modernity (hadâtsah). Psychology studies that based on the turats usually called Islamic psychology developed from the Islamic knowledge such as Islamic philosophy and Sufism. While, psychology studies that started from modernity, called as the psychology of Islam, developed from the western psychology that fitted with the Islamic value. Between both of them, psychology studies that come from Islamic tradition has extra value. Here, to study psychology from the tradition of Islamic philosophy is a good way in developing psychology studies more comprehensive. Actually, the intensive dialogue between the tradition of Islam and modern psychology studies will very helpful in finding the essence of Islamic psychology.
