Article Processing Charge
All accepted articles are subject to an "Article Processing Fee" to provide free access to readers and cover the costs of the publication process.
All Academica readers and writers can enjoy the benefits of free open access, which means unlimited use and reuse of articles. We believe free open access drives accessibility and use worldwide, serving the professional and scientific communities as well as the wider community. Since there are no access fees, Akademika offsets publication costs (including journal management, journal production, online hosting, long-term archiving, indexing in relevant databases, etc.) by charging authors, institutions or funders an article processing fee (APC) for each article published.
During the submission and peer-review process, there is no fee. APC is charged to the author when the manuscript is accepted editorially or before publication in the amount of 1,500,000 (IDR). Further information for making payment will be provided, along with the editorial status of their manuscript.
Once editorial accepts an article, the corresponding author will be notified of the payment process. Payment is due within four weeks of the manuscript receiving editorial acceptance. We recommend immediate payment as we cannot publish accepted articles until full payment has been received. We ask that you evaluate your potential for obtaining funds for Article Processing Fees prior to submission, not after acceptance. Please note that payments are non-refundable
