Journal History

Akademika is an academic journal published by Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Metro. Akademika has been accredited by The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, The Republic of Indonesia (Decree No. 152/E/KPT/2023). Akademika has been indexed in the Science and Technology Index (Sinta 2).
 
The Secretariat of Akademika is located at Rumah Jurnal IAIN Metro, Ki Hajar Dewantara St. 15A Iringmulyo, Metro City, Lampung, Indonesia. The International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is 1696-069X, and the Electronic International Standard Serial Number (E-ISSN)  is 2356-2420.
 
OJS Address Akademika in September 2016 was changed from http://stainmetro.ac.id/e-journal/index.php/akademika to journal.stainmetro.ac.id/index.php/akademika This is caused by some apps at the OJS address initially suffered damage caused by the virus. Then, as of February 2, 2017, the migration to http://e-journal.metrouniv.ac.id/index.php/akademika was due to the effect of Status Transfer STAIN Jurai Siwo Metro to IAIN Metro. The platform used is the Open Journal System (OJS) which started OJS in 2011. Before the 2011 edition, it was only available in print.
 
The Management of Akademika is facilitated by Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Metro. This indicator can be seen in the facilities owned by Akademika. Among these facilities are its office, courtroom, 24-hour internet-connected computer equipment, comfortable workspace, and adequate office equipment.
