Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep globalisasi dengan pendekatan ekonomi politik. Berdasarkan kajian ini, bahwa globalisasi sarat dengan muatan logika kepentingan political economy dalam rangka mengkokohkan jangkar kekuasaan the West Nation sebagai Negara adikuasa di muka bumi, tanpa memandang kepentingan Negara-negara kecil. Dengan pendekatan ekonomi politik, banyak para ahli mengemukan fakta bahwa globalisasi identik dengan westernisasi. Globalisasi saat ini diiringi dengan misi neokolonialisme, produk Amerika yang pada dasarnya ditujukan untuk promosi kepentingan  imperialistik masyarakat Barat dan berubah menjadi kekuatan hegemonic, sebagai jangkar kekuatan blok barat (AS) sebagai  satu-satunya negara   adidaya dunia. Para pengamat juga menunjukkan bahwa ada empat aspek utama globalisasi: 1) ekonomi 2) sosial dan budaya 3) militer 4) lingkungan. karena sebagian besar, faktor-faktor tersebut terikat dan dikontrol bahkan dimanipulasi.

This article aims to examine the concept of globalization with political economy approach. Based on this study, that the logic of globalization fully loaded with cargo of political economy interests which built to anchor the power of the West Nation as a State superpower on earth, and ignori the interests of small countries. Through a political economy approach, many experts promoted the fact that  globalization is  synonymous with Westernization. Globalization is accompanied with the mission of neocolonialism, American products are basically intended for the promotion of the imperialistic interests of Western society and turned into a hegemonic power, as the western anchor strength (AS), as the only world superpower. Analysts also pointed out that there are four main aspects of globalization: 1) the economy 2) social and cultural 3) military 4) environment. for the most part, these factors are bound and controlled and even manipulated.
