This study aims to determine the influence of using educational game treasure-hunting on the Arabic learning interest of third-grade elementary students. The issue of low student learning interest serves as the basis for the need for instructional innovation that can create an active, enjoyable, and motivating learning atmosphere. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design involving both control and experimental classes. The data collection instrument consisted of a learning-interest questionnaire administered before and after the treatment. In the experimental class, learning activities were conducted using the educational treasure-hunting game, while the control class received conventional instruction. The findings indicate an increase in learning interest in both classes. However, a significant improvement occurred in the experimental class. The independent sample t-test analysis yielded a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating that the educational treasure-hunting game has a significant effect on students’ interest in learning Arabic. These results provide empirical evidence that educational games can serve as an effective alternative instructional strategy for enhancing primary school students’ learning interest, particularly in Arabic language subjects.
