Author Guidelines

1. General Requirements

Tapis : Jurnal Penelitian Ilmiah publishes original research articles from all fields of science. Submitted manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration by another journal.

Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English using the official journal template.

2. Manuscript Preparation

Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts using the official template provided by the journal.

A manuscript should generally contain the following sections:

Title
Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
Email
Abstract
Keywords
Introduction
Method
Results and Discussion
Conclusion
Acknowledgements
Author Contribution Statement
References

The title should be concise and informative. The abstract should briefly describe the research objectives, methods, principal findings, and conclusions. Authors should provide 3–5 keywords representing the main topics of the article.

3. References

References should primarily consist of recent and relevant scholarly sources. Authors are encouraged to cite articles published within the last 10 years, unless citing classical or foundational works.

All references must follow the APA Style (7th Edition) and should be managed using reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Where available, authors should include the DOI or permanent URL for each reference.

4. Publication Ethics

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original and free from plagiarism. Fabrication, falsification, duplicate submission, and other forms of publication misconduct are unacceptable.

All authors must have made significant scholarly contributions to the manuscript and approve the final version before submission.

5. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's Online Journal System (OJS).

Before submission, authors should ensure that:

the manuscript follows the journal template;
all author information is complete;
references comply with APA Style (7th Edition);
tables and figures are properly numbered and cited;
the manuscript has been carefully proofread.

6. Peer Review

All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process. Editorial decisions are based on the reviewers' recommendations, the quality of the manuscript, and compliance with the journal's policies.
