Allegations of Research Misconduct

Jurnal Bimbingan Penyuluhan Islam takes allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously, whether concerns arise before or after publication.

Misconduct may include fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate image or data manipulation, improper authorship, peer-review manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, unauthorized use of data or materials, unethical research practices, citation manipulation, and other conduct that may compromise the scholarly record.

Concerns may be submitted to the Editor through the journal's official Contact page. Reports should identify the manuscript or article concerned and provide sufficient explanation and supporting evidence.

The Editor will conduct an initial assessment, manage conflicts of interest, maintain appropriate confidentiality, seek responses and evidence from relevant parties, and where necessary request assistance from the authors' or researchers' institutions.

Depending on the findings, editorial actions may include dismissal of an unsupported allegation, manuscript rejection, correction, expression of concern, retraction, or other appropriate action.
