Mu’amalah: Jurnal Hukum Ekonomi Syariah welcomes submissions of original scholarly works that advance Sharia Economic Law. The journal is published by the Faculty of Sharia, UIN Jurai Siwo Lampung, Indonesia, and is indexed in Google Scholar, Garuda, Moraref, ROAD ISSN, and Dimensions.

Aims & Scope

We invite empirical studies, normative/juridical analyses, conceptual papers, and comparative studies on:

  • Fiqh al-Mu’amalah

  • Legal Agreements and Contract Law

  • Law of Obligations

  • Economic Transactions & Financial Instruments

  • Philanthropic Jurisprudence (zakat, waqf, charity)

  • Employment/Labour Law in Islamic Perspective

  • Business Law & Sharia Compliance Governance

Submission Guidelines

  • Language:  English.

  • Manuscripts must be original, not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Follow the template, citation style, and author guidelines available on the journal website.

  • All submissions via OJS only (no email submissions).

  • Letter of Acceptance (LoA) policy: The Editor does not issue a separate LoA. LoA is only reflected as an “Editor Accepted” notification in the OJS.

  • Publication ethics and plagiarism screening adhere to the policies stated on the website.

Editorial Process

  • Each manuscript undergoes initial editorial screening and blind peer review by subject experts.

  • The editorial team may perform minor editing without altering the academic substance.

Timeline & Submission Window

  • Submissions are accepted due to May, 31 2026.

  • Issue schedules and final timelines are announced via OJS.
