SCREENING PLAGIARISM

Journal Mu'amalah will use the Turnitin app to screen for plagiarism. Mu'amalah: Jurnal Hukum Ekonomi Syariah Editorial Board.

1. Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are not allowed;
2. The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and words of others, that this has been appropriately cited or quoted;
3. An author should not generally publish manuscripts describing the same research in multiple journals or primary publications. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable;
4. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have influenced the nature of the reported work.

Working Process:

1. Editorial Team checking manuscript on offline and online databases manually (checking proper citation and quotation);
2. The Editorial Team checks the manuscript using the Turnitin app. If there is a suspicion of plagiarism (more than 20%), the board will reject the manuscript immediately.
