PUBLICATION ETHICS

This statement clarifies ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in our journals, including the authors, the editors, the peer-reviewers and the publisher (IAIN Metro). This statement is based on COPE's (Committee on Publication Ethics) policies.
 
Siyasah: Constitutional Law is committed to maintaining high ethical standards in scientific publishing in reviewers, authors, journal editors, and publishers. 

Responsibilities of the Editor
1. Siyasah Editor The Journal of the Legal is responsible for deciding articles that are eligible to be published. The editor is escorted by the editorial board policy of the Academic Journal of Islamic Thought. The editors are also restricted by applicable law regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
2. In the review process of Siyasah and decision making of article publication, the editing team hold fast to not distinguish the position, race, sex, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, sexual orientation, and political ideology of the author.
3. Editor and editorial team hardly leak information about the submitted manuscript or articles other than to writers, reviewers, other advisers who are in the editorial board, or publishers.
4. Unpublished manuscripts submitted shall not be allowed for use by research editors without written permission from the author. Any information obtained from the reviewer will not be used for the editor's personal interest.
5. The editor must be fair and free of commercial bias considerations when making decisions according to the peer-reviewed process.

The Reviewer's Responsibility
Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions on submitted texts or articles
1. Reviewers should view every submitted script is a secret document, so it is not allowed to discuss with other parties unless the permission of the editor.
2. The reviewer shall be fully responsible for the recommendation of the review to be reviewed
3. Review of texts is done objectively, and supported by clear arguments.
4. Reviewer is also responsible for quotes, references, and plagiarism for articles reviewed.
5. Reviewer has a commitment and work hard to try to improve the quality of the process and product review results
6. Reviewers may have special time for review activities
7. Reviewer keeps the confidentiality of information about the review process and the information is not for personal gain.

 Author Responsibility
1. The author must provide articles of thought or research clearly, systematically, structured, honest, and free from plagiarism or data manipulation.
2. The author is responsible for any confirmation caused by the article he wrote.
3. The author must follow the rules of the publication of scientific papers, namely the originality of works, free plagiarism, and has not been published in the journal or in other publications.
4. Authors shall submit references of opinions or works of others cited
5. Authors must write the script or article ethically, honestly and responsibly, in accordance with the rules of writing of applicable scientific papers.
6. Authors are prohibited from sending or publishing the same article to more than one journal or media publication. Filing the same script on more than one journal or publication media is unethical in the publication of scientific papers and is not justified.
7. The author is responsible for finding significant errors in his own published manuscript, it is the author's duty to immediately provide information to journal or publisher editors. The author then works with the editor to retract or correct the script.

  Publisher Responsibility
1. Siyasah: Constitutional Law is a periodical publication published by State Islamic Institute Of Metro as a publisher of scientific journals responsible for publishing articles that have been through the stage of editing, peer review, and layout in accordance with the rules of publishing Scientific Journal applicable.
2. Siyasah: Constitutional Law is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for editors and reviewers in performing their duties in accordance with their respective fields.
3. Siyasah: Constitutional Law is responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property, copyright, and editorial freedom.

Pernyataan ini mengklarifikasi tentang etika semua pihak yang terlibat dalam penerbitan artikel di jurnal kami, termasuk penulis, editor, mitra bestari, dan penerbit (IAIN Metro). Pernyataan ini didasarkan pada kebijakan COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

Jurnal Siyasah: Hukum Tata Negara berkomitmen untuk mempertahankan standar etika yang tinggi dalam penerbitan ilmiah baik bagi para penelaah, penulis, editor jurnal, dan penerbit.

 

Tanggung Jawab Editor

  • Editor Siyasah: Jurnal Hukum Tata Negara bertanggung jawab untuk memutuskan artikel yang memenuhi syarat untuk diterbitkan. Editor dikawal oleh kebijakan dewan editorial Jurnal Pemikiran Islam. Editor juga dibatasi oleh hukum yang berlaku terkait pencemaran nama baik, pelanggaran hak cipta, dan plagiarisme.
  • Dalam proses penelaahan Siyasah dan pengambilan keputusan penerbitan artikel, tim penyunting berpegang teguh untuk tidak membedakan kedudukan, ras, jenis kelamin, agama, etnis, kewarganegaraan, orientasi seksual, dan ideologi politik penulis.
  • Editor dan tim redaksi tidak menyebarkan informasi tentang naskah atau artikel yang masuk selain kepada penulis, reviewer, penasihat lain yang menjadi anggota dewan redaksi, atau penerbit.
  • Naskah yang belum diterbitkan tidak akan diizinkan untuk digunakan oleh editor penelitian tanpa izin tertulis dari penulis. Informasi apa pun yang diperoleh dari pengulas tidak akan digunakan untuk kepentingan pribadi editor.
  • Editor harus bersikap adil dan bebas dari pertimbangan bias komersial ketika membuat keputusan sesuai dengan proses peer-review.

 

Tanggung Jawab Penelaah

  • Peninjau membantu penyunting dalam membuat keputusan editorial atas naskah atau artikel yang diajukan
  • Penelaah harus memandang setiap naskah yang masuk merupakan dokumen rahasia, sehingga tidak diperkenankan untuk berdiskusi dengan pihak lain kecuali seizin editor.
  • Penelaah bertanggung jawab penuh atas rekomendasi hasil telaah yang akan ditelaah
  • Penelaahan naskah dilakukan secara objektif dan didukung oleh argumen yang jelas.
  • Penelaah juga bertanggung jawab atas kutipan, referensi, dan plagiarisme untuk artikel yang ditelaah.
  • Penelaah memiliki komitmen dan bekerja keras untuk berusaha meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil penelaahan
  • Penelaah dapat memiliki waktu khusus untuk kegiatan penelaahan
  • Penelaah menjaga kerahasiaan informasi mengenai proses penelaahan dan informasi tersebut tidak untuk kepentingan pribadi.

 

Tanggung Jawab Penulis

  • Penulis harus memberikan artikel hasil pemikiran atau penelitian dengan jelas, sistematis, terstruktur, jujur, dan bebas dari plagiarisme atau manipulasi data.
  • Penulis bertanggung jawab atas segala konfirmasi yang ditimbulkan oleh artikel yang ditulisnya.
  • Penulis harus mengikuti kaidah-kaidah publikasi karya tulis ilmiah, yaitu orisinalitas karya, bebas plagiat, dan belum pernah dipublikasikan di jurnal atau di publikasi lain.
  • Penulis wajib mencantumkan referensi pendapat atau karya orang lain yang dikutip
  • Penulis harus menulis naskah atau artikel secara etis, jujur dan bertanggung jawab, sesuai dengan kaidah penulisan karya ilmiah yang berlaku.
  • Penulis dilarang mengirimkan atau mempublikasikan artikel yang sama ke lebih dari satu jurnal atau media publikasi. Pengajuan naskah yang sama pada lebih dari satu jurnal atau media publikasi merupakan tindakan yang tidak etis dalam publikasi karya tulis ilmiah dan tidak dibenarkan.
  • Penulis bertanggung jawab untuk menemukan kesalahan yang signifikan dalam naskah yang diterbitkannya sendiri, adalah tugas penulis untuk segera memberikan informasi kepada editor jurnal atau penerbit. Penulis kemudian bekerja sama dengan editor untuk menarik kembali atau memperbaiki naskah tersebut.

Tanggung Jawab Penerbit

  • Siyasah: Hukum Tata Negara merupakan terbitan berkala yang diterbitkan oleh Institut Agama Islam Negeri Metro sebagai penerbit jurnal ilmiah yang bertanggung jawab atas penerbitan artikel yang telah melalui tahap editing, peer review, dan tata letak sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah penerbitan Jurnal Ilmiah yang berlaku.
  • Siyasah: Hukum Tata Negara bertanggung jawab untuk menjamin kebebasan akademik bagi para editor dan reviewer dalam menjalankan tugasnya sesuai dengan bidangnya masing-masing.
  • Siyasah: Hukum Tata Negara bertanggung jawab untuk menjaga privasi dan melindungi kekayaan intelektual, hak cipta, dan kebebasan editorial.
