Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang ancaman terhadap data pribadi di jejaring sosial dalam sudut pandang kajian Islam. Dengan memaparkan terlebih dahulu konsep atas data pribadi dalam industri big data saat ini, berbagai sumber dan literatur dilakukan dalam mencari data yang relevan dengan isu ancaman data pribadi pada jejaring sosial online dalam sudut pandang keislaman melalui meta-analisis. Hasil olah data dan konseptual peneliti menekukan bahwa ancama data pribadi pada jejaring sosial online dapat dikategorikan dalam tiga hal ; ancaman konten multimedia, ancaman sosial dan ancaman psikologis. Setaip kategori diklasterisasikan ke dalam beberapa tipe ancaman. Penulis mengidentifikasi selain dengan memanfaatkan fitur privasi yang telah  disediakan oleh situs jejaring sosial online, pengguna sendiri juga harus sedini mungkin meliterasi dirinya untuk membedakan informasi dan rahasia. Pengguna harus sadar dalam menyeleksi konten apa yang harus disebarkan di jejaring sosial online dan mana yang tidak.
