Abstract
The economic concept of development can be achieved with several dimensions including: balanced material and spiritual, internal and external in harmony, qualitative and quantitative in harmony, and also balanced with the morality of all stakeholders. Researchers will try to contribute ideas about Islamic economic construction based on Islamic studies and maqashid sharia. To answer this problem, researchers used library research with a descriptive approach and the data obtained was of course of a dharuriyat nature by collecting it through content analysis which was in the nature of in-depth discussion. The results of the study are that the implementation of Islamic economic development must be based on principles such as worldview, humans as actors of development, Nature of the Spirit, the world and the hereafter as a time scale, science as a guide, worship as the foundation of development, natural resources as a means, and Allah's blessing as a goal. end of development.
