Abstract

The development of the curriculum and the implementation of the Curriculum of Islamic Religious Education in the School has quite significant problems. This research aims to expose everything problematic and everything that needs to be evaluated within the curriculum. The method of library research or library study is used in this research. From the evaluation of the results obtained, several aspects need to be evaluated, namely, first evaluation objectives, learning objectives should be designed operatively, which means that they can be measured and observed to the level of success, the objectives made more focused on improving the ability of the pupils. Second, evaluation materials description of materials as teaching materials do not get developed because teachers only rely on books already in the hands of students. Third, methodology evaluation and curriculum implementation can be influenced by teaching methods, teacher expertise, available resources, school support, and government support. Fourth: Evaluation of evaluations: Curriculum evaluation is part of the development and implementation of curricula; therefore, evaluations are necessary not only at the beginning of the program but also during the implementation process.
